Sometimes I cook experimentally, especially on the weekend when I feel like I’ve got free time. It usually revolves around something we have around the house that we have to use up or throw out, and sometimes it takes me in weird directions. I’m lucky that I have a forgiving (and hungry) partner who will try pretty much anything I create. This blog is mostly a place to keep track of recipes I’ve cobbled together, successful cooking experiments I’ve liked, and (perhaps if I feel brave) some of the ones that were less than successful.
